Motivation: It takes it to get to the gym, but don't lose it when you get there.

I was at the gym yesterday and I seen two ladies (probably mother and daughter) doing exercise at the gym. The thing was, they really were EXERCISING, they were wasting their time. By the time that I had done two sets of leg exercises, they were just getting off a rest. I understand that they may be their routine, but then again, they did not appear to be needing that period of rest for their exercise level.

The whole point of what I am saying is that when you go to the gym, make it worth the time that you are there. Maintain the motivation to keep up a decent pace and you will see the weight melt off of you.

Quick Fix?

There has been a lot of talk of diet pills, diet shots, fad diets, lose 20 lbs in two days. But I want you to take a look at really what you are doing. Ask yourself some questions:
  1. The weight that I lose, is it fat or muscle mass?
  2. Will this be a permanent weight loss? Will I be able to maintain the 20lb drop?
  3. Have I fixed the lifestyle that caused me to get to my current weight?
  4. Is it Healthy?
  5. What are the long term effects of this diet pills or shots?
  6. Who is looking out for me? Are they going to profit if I do what they are telling me?
  7. Have I done this in the past?
In reality, there is no quick fix to remove the weight that took time to put on. It takes time to remove it, it takes motivation and dedication and a commitment to jump right back on if you fall off the workout and eating plan.

Long-term solutions to being fab include exercise (aerobic and resistance) and a healthy eating style. And please be careful if you decide to try a quick fix.
